Besides taking part in tying together the Danish healthcare system, Netic delivers infrastructure for FUT – Joint Tender of Telemedicine. The FUT organisation is responsible for tender, development and delivery of telemedical solutions and infrastructure on behalf of Denmark’s 98 municipalities and 5 regions.

The aim of FUT is to increase the security and flexibility of the medical treatment Danish citizens receive. This is meant to reduce the number of hospitalisations and increase patients’ quality of life. As a beginning, the solution is targeted Danish citizens diagnosed with severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and these patients are offered telemedical home monitoring. Over time other disease areas will be connected to the solution as well.

The infrastructure, which Netic is responsible for together with Systematic and Trifork, collects and stores data, and in this way it ensures the sharing of data across the country and sectors regardless of solution. In addition, the infrastructure offers a high level of standardisation and improved transparency, which will make it easier to use the infrastructure with other disease areas.
