Processing Activities
As a data controller under the GDPR, we engage in the following processing activities. When you visit our website, the following processing activities may take place.
Communication with Website Visitors
When you have questions about our site or want to learn more about our services, you can contact us via a contact form, email, or telephone. Through this, we will process your personal data so that we can engage in a dialogue with you—for example, to answer questions about our services. We only process the information you provide us with in connection with our communication. Typically, we process the following general information: name, email, and telephone number.
Our legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We delete our communication with you once it becomes clear whether or not you wish to use our services.
Customers
We need to communicate with our customers to ensure that our services are delivered correctly. Through this, we may process information such as name, address, services, special agreements, payment details, and similar data.
The legal basis for processing this personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Once the service has been delivered and any outstanding matters have been resolved, we will delete the personal data immediately thereafter.
Newsletter
We offer a newsletter that you can choose to subscribe to voluntarily—and you can unsubscribe at any time. The purpose of the newsletter is to send subscribers emails containing new information about the company.
Our legal basis for processing your personal data (i.e., your email address) in connection with the newsletter is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Upon unsubscribing from the newsletter, we store your now-former consent for 2 years after its last use due to statute of limitation requirements.
Bookkeeping
We are required to store all accounting records in accordance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act. This means we store invoices and similar documents for accounting purposes.
Our legal basis for processing personal data for bookkeeping is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. We retain this information for a minimum of 5 years after the end of the current financial year.
Job Applications
We gladly accept job applications to assess whether they match a hiring need within our company. If you send your job application to us, our legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
If you have sent an unsolicited application, HR will immediately assess whether your application is relevant and will delete your data if there is no match. If you have applied for an advertised position, we will discard your application if you are not hired, immediately after the right candidate has been found for the job.
Data Processors
Few can manage everything on their own, and the same goes for us. Therefore, we have business partners and utilize suppliers, some of whom may act as data processors. External suppliers may, for example, provide systems to organize our work, services, advisory, IT hosting, or marketing.
Among others, we use HubSpot for the collection and storage of data. HubSpot ensures that data is stored within the boundaries of the EU and that the data is handled appropriately.
It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal data is processed correctly. Therefore, we set high standards for our business partners, and our partners must guarantee that your personal data is protected.
Disclosure of Personal Data
Data regarding your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and potentially click on, geographic location, etc., is disclosed to third parties to the extent that this information is known (see the section regarding website visits). This information is used for targeted advertising. Conversely, disclosure of personal data such as name, email, etc., will only take place if you give your explicit consent.
Profiling and Automated Decision-Making
We do not engage in profiling or automated decision-making.
Third-Country Transfers
As a baseline, we use data processors within the EU/EEA, or those who store data within the EU/EEA. In some cases, this is not possible, and in these instances, data processors outside the EU/EEA may be used, provided they can ensure adequate protection for your personal data.
Security of Processing
We keep the processing of personal data secure by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures. We have carried out risk assessments of our processing of personal data and have subsequently introduced appropriate technical and organizational measures to increase processing security, such as GDPR awareness training.
Data Minimization and Verification
Before we process your personal data, we examine whether it is possible for us to minimize the volume of data about you, and whether the data can be used in an anonymized form. At the same time, we verify that the personal data we process is not incorrect or misleading.

Cookies
When you visit our website, we use cookies to make the website function, which you can read more about in our cookie and privacy policy. If you delete or block cookies, advertisements may become less relevant to you, and the website might not function optimally. The website contains cookies and scripts/tracking codes from third parties, which include:
1. Google Tools (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager / Paid Search)
Purpose: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website (e.g., which pages are most popular and how long visitors stay). We do this to continuously improve the user experience and content of the site. In tandem with Paid Search (Google Ads), we also use this tracking to measure the effectiveness of our search engine advertising, allowing us to see if visitors find the relevant content they were looking for.
2. Meta Pixel & LinkedIn Insight Tag (Advertising and Retargeting)
Purpose: We use Meta and LinkedIn for business-to-business (B2B) advertising. The purpose of these scripts is to ensure that the ads we display on social media are as relevant as possible to the recipient. The tracking codes enable us to create "retargeting campaigns." This means that if a user has visited Netic's website and shown interest in a specific topic, we can subsequently display relevant ads or information about the same topic to the user on LinkedIn or Meta.
3. Factors.ai (B2B Company Identification)
Purpose: Netic is a B2B company, and we use Factors.ai to identify which companies demonstrate interest in our services by visiting our website. The tool looks up the visitor's IP address against a corporate database. Tracking occurs exclusively at the company level and not at an individual person level. The sole purpose is to optimize our B2B marketing and sales efforts toward relevant companies.
4. Cookiebot (Consent Management)
Purpose: We use Cookiebot as our Consent Management Platform (consent solution). This means Cookiebot helps us ensure that we comply with current legislation by only activating the aforementioned marketing and statistics scripts if the visitor proactively gives their consent.
5. HubSpot
Purpose: To track user traffic across the website by assigning a unique ID to all users so we can see trends and patterns on our website. If the user has granted permission, we can also gain insight into who our user is based on other provided information.
