ATAH

ATAH is a clinical decision support system that helps physicians diagnose patients and provides recommendations for treatment. Netic is responsible for the operations of the system.

FUT

Besides taking part in tying together the Danish healthcare system, Netic delivers infrastructure for FUT – Joint Tender of Telemedicine.

Min Læge

The app ‘Min Læge’ provides Danish citizens the possibility to easily get in contact with their doctor and to get access to information concerning appointments, referrals, vaccinations etc.

Digitalisation is the most significant force of change in our time, and this is why it is necessary for companies across all industries to digitalise their processes. This also goes for the healthcare system.

Here digitalisation is a key tool for creating a citizen-centric, coherent and effective healthcare system by, for instance, ensuring better use of data.

Every day the Danish healthcare system exchanges data for hundreds of thousands of people between physicians, hospitals, municipalities, pharmacies and private clinics. These are all connected to the Health Data Network. MedCom, which is owned by the Ministry of Health, Danish Regions and Local Government Denmark, is responsible for this network.

Netic is the operator of the Health Data Network – and other parts of the digital backbone of the Danish healthcare system.

We do this in collaboration with a number of software companies. We work together according to a model that has proven successful for many years.

Security, Compliance and Legal

Naturally, systems that contain information about public health are critical. Such systems need to be secured. Not just because it is the done thing, but also because of the authorities’ rigorous demands concerning the protection of health data.

At Netic we have worked with critical data for almost as long as the company has existed. We know what it takes to comply with these demands and to avoid that the Danish public health data falls into the wrong hands.

This has only become more relevant with the updates included in the General Data Protection Regulation from 2018 concerning processing of personal information.

In case you have any questions about how Netic protects critical information or you want to know more about how Netic can assist you, you are more than welcome to reach out to us.

Health Tech

Netic is not only involved in healthcare IT in Denmark. We also assist Danish software companies with their entry into the American market for healthcare IT. This involves becoming HIPAA compliant and FDA approved.

What is HIPAA?

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a result of the increasing use of electronic media in the American healthcare system. The bill was signed in 1996 and it changed the way healthcare information was managed, provided standards for electronic requirements and ensured security and privacy of patient information.

What is an FDA approval?

FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) is responsible for the approval of food, drugs and medical devices.
